"Myles"

Retired from the Canadian show scene at just 19 months old, Myles redefined what a "quick study" looks like in the show ring. In a single, whirlwind year of competition, this exceptional bred-by boy ascended to the very top of the ranks, concluding 2025 as the #1 Miniature Smooth Dachshund, #1 Miniature Dachshund (All varieties) and the #9 Hound in Canada.

Myles holds the distinction of being the first of his variety to navigate Canada’s demanding new requirements to earn the prestigious Grand Champion Excellence (GChEx) title. From his very first weekend—where he secured his Canadian Championship—to his final bow where he obtained his Rally Novice title, he has been the epitome of type, temperament, and structural quality.

"Lainey"

Lainey, a littermate to Myles and a breeder's dream, perfectly embodies the ideal type and size. She quickly earned her Canadian Championship title. While Myles basked in the spotlight throughout 2025, we made the conscious decision to allow Lainey time to mature. In 2026, our priority is to provide Lainey with the opportunity to shine, as we aim to support her in achieving her Canada Grand Championship title.

"Chili"

Bred by the late Bill Hardie in Australia and imported to Canada as a foundation bitch, Chili is the cornerstone of our program. Now retired, she has gracefully transitioned from the spotlight to her well-earned role as a dedicated couch potato and the beloved matriarch of our household.

Chili leaves behind an incredible legacy in the ring; despite being shown sparingly for less than a year, she was recognized as Canada’s #1 Miniature Smooth Dachshund for 2023, as well as the year's Top Owner-Handled Miniature Smooth Dachshund. Becoming a proud mother in 2024, she raised a fabulous litter of five healthy, happy puppies: Myles, Lainey, Hardie, Cinnamon, and Wylie. This standout litter has already seen exceptional success, with three of the five achieving their Championship titles or beyond.

"Taylor"

Bred by the late Bill Hardie in Australia and later imported to Canada, Taylor enjoyed a successful puppy career, winning Best Minor Puppy in Show (BMPIS) at the 2023 13th Australian National under breeder-judge Mrs. D. Norton (UK).

When she arrived in Canada, she was awarded Best Puppy in Show at the Western Dachshund Club specialty under breeder-judge Mark Houston-McMillan (Can). After quickly attaining her Canadian championship, Taylor chose the comforts of home life over the show circuit. Known as the ultimate snuggle bug, she is also the most vocal member of our household. We eagerly anticipate what the future holds for Taylor in our next generation.
